<title>The First New Members meet of 2008 9th-11th May</title>
<link>http://www.chestermc.org/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=53</link>
<description>Yes, it is another new member’s meet. This time it is a bit later in the year so that we have more chance of climbing.
The meet is for potential new members and members who have joined in the last year or so. It’s idea is to get people to know one another.
As like previous meets it will be held at our hut PCU in Snowdonia. Information about the hut is found on the webpage.
Members and potential members can turn out for the weekend or just a day. We arrange walking or climbing on both days. All will be included in the program of events.
Anybody interested can either contact me Phil Moore Phil&#109;&#064;&#099;hestermc.org or the membership sec Dave&#082;&#064;&#099;hestermc.org

So far we have 7 new members turning out with at least 6 club members.
Thursday evening -- there may be up to 20 people at the hut.

<title>Working Meet this Weekend April 11th</title>
<link>http://www.chestermc.org/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=52</link>
<description>Willing volunteers required to help out at PCU this weekend. Let's face it, the weather's so bad that you surely can't have anything better to do. Just bring working clothes - all other equipment will be supplied for painting, cleaning etc.

Intending to go to the Beacon on Sunday once we've finished at the hut, so bring climbing gear too.
